Privacy Statement

Data Controllers: The Farm Studio, Phepson Farm, Himbleton, Droitwich, WR9 7JZ

As you may be aware the General Data Protection Regulations are changing, the new regulations are there to protect you and your personal data, this comes into force on May 25th 2018. We value your privacy and want you to be happy about the data we collect, how we use it, how we store it, your rights to control that information and the legal bases to do so.

What we collect: When you booked your appt we take your name, email address, and contact numbers which is held on our secure booking system “Get Timely”. Only therapists/administrators working from The Farm Studio have access to this booking system to view and amend appointments. All therapists must adhere to our data protection policy to ensure your details remain secure.

How we use it: We only use this data to send confirmation/remind you of your appt and update you quarterly via our e-letter. We are the data controllers of your data and we use both Get Timely and Mailchimp at data processors to help manage our bookings, reminders and quarterly mail outs.

How we store it: This info is stored and processed via the secure systems provided by Get Timely and mailchimp, any reports that are drawn from this software will not have your personal data included. Your details are not stored/saved on any other documents or shared/sold to a third party. We only hold data for so long as we are lawfully entitled to, or until the customer requests deletion.

Your rights to control the information:

  • you can inform us of any changes to your personal information, or if you want us to correct any of the personal information we hold about you e.g. email or contact number;
  • you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • in certain situations, you can ask us to erase, block or restrict the personal information we hold about you, or object to the ways in which we are using your personal information; and
  • in certain situations, you can also ask us to send the personal information you have given us to a third party.

Legal basis: We collect your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest or consent to do so. You are entitled to withdraw that consent at any time. Moreover, where we process your personal information based on legitimate interest or the public interest, you have the right to object at any time to that use of your personal information.

 

Information that you pass on to self-employed therapists working from The Farm Studio is between you (the client) and the self-employed individual, it is a separate agreement to the information listed here. All self-employed individuals working from The Farm Studio will have their own Privacy Statements so ensure you are happy with how the data you have shared is used and stored.
